Marc Chasin, MD, MMM, CPE, CHCIO is System Vice President and Chief Information Officer of St. Luke’s Health System.  In this role, he is responsible for providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives to include directing the planning and implementation of the health system’s enterprise IT systems and advanced clinical information systems to advance and promote the transformation of health care by aligning with physicians and other providers to deliver integrated, seamless, and patient-centered quality care across the St. Luke’s Health System.  He has extensive experience in the area of change management as well as clinical informatics on an enterprise level.

Dr. Chasin is actively involved at the national level discussing such topics as Interoperability, patient centered care, mHealth and Telehealth.  He was previously CMO/CMIO at Bon Secours Charity Health System and maintained an active practice in Family Medicine.  He is a member of many professional organizations including the Chair of Epic Care Everywhere Council, the Chair of the Trust Frame Workgroup of CareQuality, Board Member of the Idaho Health Data Exchange (IHDE), the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems (AMDIS), College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
